| Dns1 | This VM, and Europa, no longer exist. The service was continued by Lapras first, then Talos. |
| Europa | Fate: Motherboard died and hardware issues. Combined with Xen2 to create Phoenix, then hardware died, became Felix, then re-purposed as Androbattery with the introduction of Hydra |
| Fog | Talos borked itself one day and we needed a server... |
| Game | Game servers were evicted from the lab (and given to CUGI), reborn as GMx |
| Git (VM) | A retired VM, its service now lives on in Gitlab. |
| Gitlab | Became Starkist, after backing up the stored repositories to cold backups. A GoGS server called simply Git fulfilled its role. |
| Honeypot | See Planet. |
| Irc-server | dead |
| Juno | After a particularly long run, the hardware was finally moved to the second floor, where it remains unused. |
| Jupiter | The hardware for the former host is presently unused and stored on the second floor. Central SQL database storage has not existed since. |
| Lapras | Superseded by Talos. I'm not sure if it was on the same hardware... |
| Due to the general difficulty of running a mail server, another service of this kind has not yet been proposed. | |
| Mordor | The hardware became Ziltoid. |

| Pepperjack | Fate: It's a 1u server hanging around somewhere in the labs |
| Planet | This service was never replaced when Web1 was retired. The current web service host, DubsDot, has the resources to replace it, but a maintainer is needed. |
| Retro | The service was abandoned when Alan graduated. |

| Storage | Fate: Storage was retired when Animal was reconfigured, became Xen2, then this hardware made it's way into Phoenix, then hardware died, became Felix, then re-purposed as Androbattery with the introduction of Hydra |

| Tinkerbell | The hardware is presently unused and stored on the second floor. Bacon has taken over PXE bootstrap (including TFTP), images, and NFS, while Talos provides DHCP. |
| Trisqwall | It was replaced by Ziltoid. |

| Web1 | With the notable exception of cslabs.clarkson.edu and cosi.clarkson.edu (which are hosted on Bacon), many of our web services have since moved to DubsDot. |
